Baby quilt (part 3)

Most quilters know the most exciting parts of a quilt are when you first start and when you finally finish! For most quilts, I am super excited at the first, then life sets in and I struggle to find time to quilt. This quilt is a little different. I am constantly looking for times I can quilt, and just thinking about how our little baby will look at it, and play with it. Now that we know it’s a girl, I’m also trying to figure out how to balance the colors to still be neutral, but get some pink in there 🙂

The pattern I chose has 3 different types of blocks. So I am slowly getting through all the different blocks. I figured out I need 4 of each type of block, so that is what I am doing. I was able to cut all the block A pieces in one night, and a few nights later was able to piece them all together.

More to come as I can cut out blocks B and C!
